He received an Honorary Doctor of Ministry from West Coast Bible College & Seminary in Plano, Texas for his life's work educating and coaching families and family-owned businesses on building generational wealth. Received his MBA in Management from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. He is an experienced Certified Wealth Educator (CWE), Certified Soft Skills Trainer (CSST), author, entrepreneur, visionary, speaker, business advisor, trainer/teacher, and loan officer.
He is the co-author of the books, “The Power In A Vision Driven Family”, “Family Success Workbook”, “Journeys To I Do” and four additional books currently being sold on Amazon and Kindle.

She earned her Doctor of Education in K-12 Leadership at Bethel University in Saint Paul, MN. Upon graduation, she was honored to dedicate her doctorate degree to her parents.

She worked in the field of Education for thirty-plus years in numerous roles; as a principal, director, science specialist, and teacher in both traditional and non-traditional K-12 schools. She is co-founder of the national blue-ribbon K-6 charter school Friendship Academy of the Arts located in Minnesota.

DR. PHILIP S. PORTER BUSINESS ADVISOR/TRAINER: 13 years of experience as a senior business advisor for over 300 small businesses and loan clients representing many industries. Facilitated a 22-week business course by NDC titled "Plan It! An Entrepreneur's Guide to Success" to over 200 startup and expanding business owners and C-Level executives.
DR. PHILLIP S. PORTER BUSINESS LOAN OFFICER: 4 years of experience as a small business lending officer with NDC. Secured and managed business loans for 50-plus clients.

Our Story

For many years, people always asked us the following questions:

How did your family start your business and get over 30 family members from 3 generations to invest into your family business?

Phase 1: Wrote & Published A Book: After many years of being asked these questions and more, we decided to write a book that will answer these questions and more. So, in 2016, we wrote a book titled “The Power In A Vision Driven Family: The Journey To A Generational Vision”.

Phase 2: Began Conducting Workshops: We gave a copy of the book to our Pastor, Rev. Dr. Billy Russell, Senior Pastor, Greater Friendship M.B. Church in Minneapolis, MN. After reading our book, Pastor Russell asked us to conduct a “Family Vision Workshop” on Wednesday nights at our church. The workshop was very successful and surpassed our expectations. Then this one workshop led to conducting of many workshops throughout the United States. Plus, the workshops pushed us to create and publish a workbook titled “The Power In A Vision Driven Family Workbook: Journey To A Generational Vision”. As a result of conducting successful workshops and selling books, we started our business Generations Empowerment Enterprises, LLC.

Phase 3: Began Conducting Webinars: Then the Covid-19 Pandemic hit in 2020 and we were forced to convert our in-person workshops to online webinars. The webinars were very successful as well because people internationally attended our webinars and purchased our books.

Phase 4: Began Creating Online Classes: After conducting successful webinars, we decided to move up and create our own online courses. With this decision, launched the Global Family Success Institute (GFSI) to manage our online family success courses. GFSI is a subsidiary of Generations Empowerment Enterprises, LLC. This was a major challenge as we needed to learn how to create online classes. So, we learned and created our first online course. Now we have four online courses and are in the process of creating more.

Phase 5: First Strategic Partnership: The best way to achieve our goal was to identify strategic partnerships with organizations with successful online Learning Management Systems Platforms targeting family businesses. We are specifically looking for organizations that need new courses that will help their students/customers. These organizations can be a college/universities with continuing education programs, nonprofits, etc. In 2022, we landed our first contact with West Coast Bible College & Seminary. This college is 100% online. They were in the process of expanding their seminary program by adding an adult continuing education program and needed new courses to provide for their students.
